However you feel about Anne, bravo to her for this take down.
Watch interviews with her and with ScarJo about their comic book films. Watch how they always get questions about their bodies and clothing and diets and blah blah blah fucking blah. Watch as the male cast members do not get the same treatment.
Because apparently all we care about when it comes to actresses are their bodies and not, ya know, their acting.
HA! This is the same asshole who asked Scarlett about whether she could wear underwear under her catsuit. Well, now we know he’s a complete and utter douche, and that wasn’t just a one time thing. And also, Anne, you are fucking awesome.
I’m pretty sure guys get asked about their muscles and shit all the time. And they probably don’t get asked those promiscuous kind questions because.. it’s a guy that’s asking questions. I’ve seen ladies ask the guys those kind of questions, too.
actors occasionally being prompted to talk about “their muscles and shit” while promoting superhero/action movies isn’t comparable to the way the actresses involved in these types of films are constantly reduced to their bodies and rarely asked to speak about any of their characters’ qualities beyond their sex appeal
I don’t care what anyone says, I love Anne Hathaway. She’s always been a positive, nice person in every interview I’ve seen, and here she is being a badass.
